However, whilst the castle has 40 rooms. The $24 tour and $6 for parking ($2/hr) gives you access to 4 of those rooms.

We've been to the gardens a lot. especially way back when it used to be free. They're still beautiful although there's a fairly hefty fee to get in now ($9.75). It's worth it .

In 1908, Dunsmuir hired influential British Columbia architect Samuel Maclure to realize his baronial dream.
